There are many similarities between the two models. Reading their specifications side by side will likely give off the impression that both are basically the same. However, practical tests have shown some important differences.

Although older, Xiaomi Mijia 1C is a little bit better at cleaning. People recognized that C2’s capabilities aren’t improved significantly. C2 has a slightly larger water tank compared to C1, but the trade-off is a smaller dustbin.

Both differences are quite small, but we can say that 1C is better at vacuuming while C2 is better at mopping. Both dustbins are relatively small so you would have to frequently replace them.

One of the most significant features that affordable robot vacuums must have is the LIDAR. Unfortunately, neither one of these two products has this. They use a gyroscope together with an infrared camera to navigate in space.

This works just fine, but many other robot vacuums in this category have better navigation. As a newer model, C2 has some improvements over its competitor. However, the differences are negligible.

After my extensive research I decided to go for this one. Its powerful yet quiet on standard setting, turbo is great on my short hair carpet. Love the mapping feature and it finds the corners great. I doesn't go multiple times the same path so its economic and precise as opposed to more expensive ones without camera. Easy to use app and its compatible with google and alexa. It picked up 99% of all dog hair and other dirt from the floor as on youtube vid reviews. Didn't tried the mop option yet but I don't expect it to do better job than human 😉 I trust the brand and I hope it will last. It came from Latvia supplied with UK adapter. Great value for the money. Its took few days with UPS courier.

I bought this vacuum for my 1 bedroom apartment. So far very happy about the item. Pros : - The vacuum is very powerful - Nice design (White color) - Not too noisy and have a silent mode (not completely silent but still you wouldn't get annoying by it - Easy to use and can control with Mi Home app - Easy to install - Can climb my medium-high carpet and over the thin rug - Mopping is well enough but not as human do Cons : - The robot can easily confuse with the mapping sometimes - Mopping is slower than I thought - For some kind of big debris, the robot needs 2-3 times cleaning over that are - Water tank is not actually 500ml as it claimed Summary : - Worth the price and works well. No regret for this purchase!

I haven't passed the broom or mop again, scan the whole house and you can create virtual walls and etc... But in my case I have a problem, when I send it to clean there is an area of the bedroom that does not clean because it has to go through a corridor between the bed and the wall, even though I scan it at the time and that if you send it to clean only the bedroom, you access that area difficult to access. Anyway, I guess you'll need more practice 😅. Very happy, it scrubs well enough to be a wet cloth, it puts pressure on the floor. It takes a little while to charge.

I bought this Robot used one just to try how will work on cheaper way. I was very surprise how was clean and all replacements was brand new. Come in a original packaging. The Robot does the job good and the mop is cleaning very well. The seller very quickly replied and they are very kind to help. Very good customer service and I really recommend the product and the seller.

The truth is my first robot vacuum cleaner and I was very hesitant which one to choose between a Roomba or is Xiaomi and I decided on this model and the truth is I am very satisfied with its operation, it makes a good mapping of the area to work, the mop is just a basic thing but it works to increase cleaning (don't expect it to remove stains why it won't) the only bad point I see is that when you do a mapping it only saves a single map and does not allow you to save more areas of your house as a second floor. But overall I loved it.

works as advertised. it mapped out the rooms very quickly with its Ladar and was able to navigate around chair leg obstructions etc. i saw a youtube review that it picked up 80% of dirt which is pretty good. very happy that it could pick up all hairs from hard flooring easily and was able to move over carpets in the vacuum mode. However, in the mopping mode, the extra friction from the mop attachment at the back caused the unit to get stuck. in the vacuum mop mode, it eliminated all the "powdery feeling" on the feet after the unit is done. happy with purchase.
