This little trimmer is awesome!! If feels really good and has some weight to it. I mainly use it to trim my mustache and keep the back on my neck cleaned up between hair cuts. Has lots of accessories maybe a few to many but this thing is really nice. I like how sharp the blades are and this is a really quiet trimmer. Great product

It's a great trimmer. I was using it for my beard and as a head shaver. It has all the attachments I needed, easy to use, and performed well. I'm giving it a bad review because it developed a short and, at first, was turning on at random but now it doesn't charge. I don't recall dropping it or otherwise jarring it, but I'm disappointed in the overall quality of the build thanks to that. I'm debating whether or not I should replace it and buy the warranty. Edit: I contacted Norelco support and they are sending a replacement with very little hassle. I'm changing my review to reflect that.

The device feels very solid with very good construction and good materials. In terms of use, it is just as simple as any other trimmer, just the power button and change the accessories. The battery lasts a long time, but over time it reduces its effectiveness. The accessories, mostly measured for hair height, are made of plastic, they feel very common but I think they will last a long time. Of the other accessories, the one that doesn't work as expected is the nose hair trimmer. Don't trim evenly and it's not that easy to cut all the hair, but do trim. The others work as they should be. As for questions about its use in regions where the sun does not shine, I do not recommend it. If the idea is to leave it flush, it doesn't do that anywhere and using it with measures would make the hair even longer. And more importantly, when used without measures, i.e. the trimmer directly to the skin is dangerous, the blades, even if for hair, feel sharp and cutting would be very easy. I recommend using Gillette sensitive rakes carefully. In short, very good machine for several years of service.

I really love this product! I’ve been using a cheap off brand shaver that I got for $20 forever ago, but I felt like I needed to step up my game. I did some research and a lot of people recommended this one. I was hesitant because my shavers been going strong for so many years and it was so cheap, why would I spend almost $100 on one!? Well for starters my cheap one wasn’t water proof. It also didn’t hold a charge for longer than one shave and didn’t run while plugged in. It felt like cheap plastic and rattled pretty badly. It worked though and I’ll leave it at that. This product though.. The packaging felt nice, the carrying case is really nice, the shaver itself feels sturdy and well made. The whole thing just feels very luxurious. The attachments pop on and off with ease but don’t move at all when on. I have yet to see how it holds a charge but after 30 minutes plugged in I was able to play around with the guards and shave for probably close to an hour. I usually hate the guards but I was thoroughly impressed with the adjustable one. In one pic my face is half unshaven, half shaven with the adjustable guard set to 1.6. In the other pic is half with the adjustable and half with no guard at all. I gotta say with no guard at the blade felt smooth against my skin, not a single nick or cut. It mowed through my course hair like nothing. With the guard there were a few snags, I’m guessing from hair getting caught between the guard and the blade. But no cuts! It’s not quiet! I don’t trust shavers that advertise as “silent” or “quiet” anyways. It’s a small motor going really fast, it’s gonna be a little loud. This one is moderate to me, my BFs is maybe a little quieter but my old one was incredibly loud. I’d say it has a pretty standard trimmer sound, similar to ones in barber shops.

This is the best in class. A professional tool for a man. It has redefined my grooming kit collection. Researched a lot about this Philips 9000 Multigroom before purchasing and conclude that the reviews demand more saturation. A fantastic machine packed in the high grade travel kit. The attachments provided offer a wide variety of choices for grooming any hair that a man's body grows. Wonder why Philips India don't manufacture this product. The costly as well as time consuming import could have been avoided. Company warranty is for a decade and I wonder at how confident is the manufacturer that it has offered the best quality components in manufacturing this item. Thanks Philips Norelco..
