Ninja Luxe Café Premier
I've been looking at espresso machines for a few years as I enjoy an espresso, latte, or cappuccino but didn't want to spend nearly $1000 on a good machine plus accessories. So I've stuck with Dutch Bros and local spots waiting for a day I would just commit to a pricey setup.
Well, I'm glad I waited! This is the machine I've been wanting. This takes all the guesswork out and easily guides you through making a great espresso.
The grinder works very well for a built in model and is easily adjustable on the side of the unit. Cleaning the grinder and swapping beans isn't much of a hassle as the parts unlock and come apart easily for access.
The portafilter is sturdy with a nice heft. The unit comes with a standard double espresso basket and a "Luxe" quad shot basket that can be used for drip coffee or cold brew. They pop in and out of the portafilter without much work.

We are by no means coffee specialist. But we are daily drinkers. After spending money everyday at ⭐️bucks for over a year. We finally found a machine that would meet all our needs. Had good reviews, good price, sleek look, with most features automated.
The espresso grinder works perfectly and allows for adjustment if needed. The holder can take about 1 lb of beans.
The brew time for espresso is about 30 seconds on a double shot, and 40 seconds on a quad shot.
It is does have some sound, as expected, but not loud enough to wake our children.

As long as you understand who this machine appeals to, it will nail its target audience perfectly. This is a machine that is designed for people who are new to espresso and creating more complex coffee drinks, but are not really sure about what they’re doing. The machine does a lot of the hard work for the average person. With a lot of the processes, fully automated, and a lot of the worry about how to get the measurements just right are taken care of. It is worth noting that a lot of the machines components are very proprietary, making it not the most flexible machine in terms of longevity or if you want to expand your espresso game, however, if you are the type of person that just wants to experience espresso on a regular basis, this is the machine for you. It is an affordable price point for what it is. If you want to really get deeper into the hobby, you probably want to start somewhere else with a more flexible machine and individual components for handling each individual step. This machine does all of it in one and is pretty hard set in its ways, which is ideal for somebody that just wants it for casual drinks.

First off, the machine is beautiful and well made.
However, when I went to set up the machine, I kept receiving an "Add Beans" message when grinding even though there were plenty of beans in the hopper. I contacted Ninja support and they did a video call with me - they determined that my unit is defective (possibly the scale). I got the idea from the agent that they had seen this "known issue" before and have had to replace other units. He asked for the date code off of the plug and when I told him what it was, it sounded like he had seen that particular batch before as well. My guess is there was a bad batch of these produced.
Ninja support was GREAT - sent me an RMA to take it back to the FedEx store and it will be shipped to their "lab" in Boston and my replacement will be shipped. I would have returned it to Amazon, but their lead time to get a new unit is between 1-2 months now.
I have tons of other Ninja products and have never had a single issue with any of them, so I'm chalking this up to being a fluke - and to be honest, since this just came out I guess I am an early adopter. I have to give credit to Ninja's customer service though - it was great!

We purchased this Breville Barista Touch four years ago, and it has been an absolute dream. As avid coffee enthusiasts, we were looking for a machine that would allow us to truly customize our espresso experience, and this machine delivers.

I've generally been somewhat dismissive about the value of a higher end espresso maker as I've had plenty of coffee from very expensive machines and it was usually fine, but not materially different than a budget machine.
That changes with this machine. And yes, I recognize that this is still considered somewhat of a budget machine in the big picture of expensive coffee makers, but it's not a cheap espresso machine. And, it's worth it.
The machine makes it easy to make a great cup of coffee. The on-screen controls are pretty simple to understand and the espresso comes out pretty close to what I would consider perfect, with great flavor, great temperature, and a lovely crema. The milk frothing is super simple - the machine gets the right foam and temperature for you, and clean-up is as easy as wiping down the wand. I really appreciate that most of the functions are just very easy to get a great cup of coffee.

Some of the things we like:
1. It is fast! Total time to brew a cup
Is about 30 seconds including the time for it to heat up. You can grind your beans, brew your coffee, froth your milk, dump out the grinds and clean the frother in under 2 minutes even if you’re still half asleep.
2. There is a ton of flexibility on the drinks it can make and how it makes them. Different sizes, strengths and how much froth it puts in your milk. It does take some time to try everything and figure out what you like best but once you do, it consistently makes the drink just how you like it.
3. We waited to buy this because we thought there would be a lot to clean. But cleaning is not an issue. Only takes a few seconds to do it. Just wipe down the frother and machine. Rinse out the porta filter and milk cup. We throw them in the dishwasher at some point during the day.

Great Quality Breville Coffee Machine!
If you enjoy controlling the coffee-making process, this is a great option. The machine offers a lot of versatility and precision.
However, I have a few concerns:
1.The tamper it seems defective and doesn’t feel as sturdy as it should. I would like to change it! how to do that?
2.The milk jug doesn’t have the Breville logo, which makes it feel like an unbranded or mismatched piece. It’s a bit odd, especially considering the brand’s reputation for quality.
Overall, despite these minor issues, the machine performs well, and I’m happy with it!
