Capacity

Ninja NeverClog Juicer Capacity

Capacity is key when you want to know how much juice you can make in one go before taking a break. The AMZCHEF Slow Juicer comes with a 700 mL juice container and a 1 qt pulp cup, which is great for knocking out a couple of glasses. The Ninja NeverClog, on the other hand, comes out on top with a 24 oz (710 mL) juice jug and a bigger 36 oz (1065 mL) pulp container, making it ideal for slightly larger batches. So if you’re looking to juice in bigger volumes, the Ninja’s got the edge here.

Juice Yield & Performance

Ninja NeverClog Juicer Performance

Both the AMZCHEF and Ninja NeverClog are masticating juicers, but they have their own takes on performance. The AMZCHEF runs at 80 RPM, and while it gets the job done, it leaves you with pretty decent juice and dry pulp, though it does struggle a bit with softer fruits, leaving behind a little moisture. AMZCHEF claims a 98% juice yield, but in real tests, you’re looking at around 66% yield, especially when mixing in wetter produce. So, not quite as efficient as some pricier models, but still solid for everyday use.

Now, the Ninja NeverClog steps up its game with its nifty NeverClog tech and a slightly higher RPM range of around 80-100, which helps it power through tough stuff like carrots without any issues. The result? A higher juice yield and drier pulp, especially with those extra pulp filters. For efficiency and smoother performance, Ninja takes the win here.

Ease of Use

Ninja NeverClog Juicer Ease of Use

When it comes to how easy these juicers are to use, the size of the feed chute and the extra features make a big difference in how much time you’ll spend prepping. The AMZCHEF has a 1.6-inch chute, which means you’ll probably need to do a little more chopping before you start juicing. On the bright side, its simple on/reverse controls make it pretty straightforward to operate, no complicated settings here.

The Ninja NeverClog, though, has a slightly smaller 1.5-inch chute, but it makes up for it with two handy pulp filters (Less/Lots) and its anti-clog design. This means less hassle, fewer jams, and more versatility for different juice textures. So, if you’re looking for something that’s easy to use and keeps things running smoothly, the Ninja definitely wins here with its extra features and clog-free power.

Noise & Cleaning

AMZCHEF Slow Juicer Noise

When it comes to quiet operation and easy cleanup, both juicers have their perks. The AMZCHEF is a champ here with its super quiet <60 dB noise level, ideal for early mornings when you don’t want to wake up the whole house. Plus, its dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a breeze, and a quick brush is all it takes to get things sparkling again.

But here’s the thing: while the AMZCHEF claims that <60 dB noise level, in real tests, it can actually hit around 84 dB when under load, definitely louder than advertised, especially if you’re juicing tougher produce.

The Ninja NeverClog, on the other hand, comes in a bit louder, around ~70-80 dB, but it’s still manageable. It’s also dishwasher-safe and easy to rinse off after use, making it pretty convenient. Overall, the AMZCHEF wins for being quieter, but if you don’t mind a little extra noise, the Ninja still does the job with less hassle in the cleanup department.

Our Pick

After putting both juicers to the test, we’re giving the win to the Ninja NeverClog Cold Press Juicer (JC151). Its anti-clog tech, higher juice yields, and handy pulp control filters really set it apart, making it perfect for daily juicers who want flexibility and smooth, efficient performance. That said, the AMZCHEF is still a solid pick, especially for anyone on a budget. It’s quiet, reliable, and gets the job done without breaking the bank. But when it comes to features and performance, the Ninja just has the edge and is a great fit for most kitchens.

AMZCHEF Slow Juicer

So I tried juicing about 5 years ago after buying a centrifugal juicer from a local big box retailer and hated it. The centrifugal was noisy, inefficient and wasteful. But at the time masticating press juicers were ridiculously expensive and just didn't see that it was worth it to buy one. This one seemed worth the time as the price at the time of purchase was good, it met all the criteria was I looking for and had good reviews. So I ordered it and gave it a go. It arrives well packaged and boxed securely so no chances of any issues when it's delivered. I opted for amazon boxing since I've been burned once or twice with packages being shipped in their own box but it appears unnecessary with this box at least. I unpacked everything and assembled it pretty easily without even looking at the directions. I went ahead and reviewed the directions anyway to make sure I put it together correctly and to review any warnings or directions. All was good. So I plugged it in and turned it on, and it's SOOO quiet. It's not even as loud as normal conversation on Hard fruit/vegetable mode. I was super impressed with how quiet it was. First thing I juiced was oranges, can't go wrong with a tall glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. This thing handles oranges like a champ. At first I was carefully peeling everything and removing all the pith remembering my days of how pith would clog up a centrifugal juicer but by the end of the 3lb bag I was barely removing all of the rind and not even trying to remove all the pith. It just handled it all. All the excess ejected out of the waste chute was pretty dry and the juice was wonderful. No foam, no particulates in the juices, just lovely orangey goodness. Next one was a batch of apple juice, a five pound bag of Pink Lady apples. I had forgotten how much juicier apples are than oranges which seems counter intuitive but the first apple pumped out way more juice than the first orange. I didn't even bother coring or peeling the apples since the oranges were fine. It labored a bit on the bigger chunks I fed down the chute but it still handled everything just fine. Just as the oranges, the waste ejected was pretty dry and by the end I wasn't even bothering to remove stems or seeds just to see how it handled everything. It was just fine. It also has a reverse function in case anything gets stuck but I didn't have any reason to use it. Five pounds of apples later and I got a little bit of foam but it was fine. I put it in a container overnight and had the juice for breakfast the next day. It was lovely. Next step was to take it apart for cleaning and it was a snap. There's a little push tab you press to remove the whole assembly and it was a snap to take everything part. They include a wrench that fits over the assembly presumably in case it torques on but it was not necessary, and they also include a cleaning brush that reaches every nook and cranny, but at least for me it was also unnecessary. I was able to use our regular glass cleaner and some dish detergent to clean and rinse everything off and left it out to dry. Over the course of the next few days I made grape juice, and tomato juice cocktail, pineapple juice, some carrot/beet juice and a few other things. Everything went just fine. I didn't use whole carrots because I prefer the taste of the mini snacking carrots and it went just fine. The beets were a breeze as well, I was a bit concerned because of how hard raw beets are but it was not a problem. This thing handled everything easily with it's 150w motor. Ultimately I packed it up and returned it, but it's only because I spent almost $100 in produce over the course of three days to make not a lot of juice. I'm sure regular juicers that are reading this are throwing their hands up in disgust, but it just doesn't make sense to me. 3lbs of oranges at almost $5 a bag yielded about 18oz of orange juice, so if you ever wondered why fresh squeezed orange juice is so expensive, that's why. 5lbs of apples at about $5 a bag yielded about 34oz of juice, all the ingredients for the tomato juice came in at about $10 and yielded about 20z, etc, etc. There's no return on investment, other than you're getting fresh ingredients with no artificial junk and you're getting all the nutrients from fresh ingredients. If that's what you want, then I'd highly recommend this juicer for you, which I why I still rated it 5 stars even though I returned it. The only semi-negative I have is that it has a relatively large footprint, so make sure you have roughly the counter space of a tall Keurig and the width of a toaster oven fully assembled for it to take up. Other than that, this is very easy to use, super quiet, easy to assemble and clean up, and for the price is very comparable to other masticating juicers in the same power range.

This juicer is the real deal! Easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn't leave you with pulpy juice! It's absolutely worth the money! The pulp comes out in a dry paste which makes disposal of it fast! It all fits together tight and nothing slips or leaks! Best juicer I've had!

For the price you pay, it works as expected —but it’s not the best of the best. Was I expecting more? Not at all. I will upgrade to a better machine (different brand) in the future to save time, and for better juice extraction. The noise level isn’t bad. I was able to talk on my phone using my AirPods with no noice complaint from my friend. Also, I’ve been on the phone with him while he was juicing (using the same exact juicer), and the noise wasn’t distracting or bothersome. Would I PREFER a quieter machine? Yes. The details in the listing state that 2 juice storage bottles comes with the machine, I only received 1. My friend purchased the same juicer and DID receive 2. I didn’t make a big fuss over this because #1, the bottle is plastic, and #2, I hate fabric carrying handle on the top of the bottle. I’m a germaphobe, and all I could think about was germs and bacteria being trapped in this little fabric handle. Also, when I wash it, that part would remain wet until it dries so I wouldn’t be able to use it right away 🫤! Excuse my pickiness 😂, but it bothers me lol. Despite my likes/dislikes/preferences, this is a great STARTER machine and I think it’s priced fairly. Likes: Easy to assemble and use. Clean up is not bad either. Reverse function is decent. 2 speeds to choose from. Can easily juice my main fruits and veggies with no issues (cucumber, celery, carrots, apples, lemons, oranges, beets, strawberries). Dislikes: Small juice container (the container that captures all the juice). Certain fruits/veggies will still contain a noticeable amount of juices (e.g. cucumber, strawberries, lemon). This juicer does not support leafy vegetables (spinach, kale, etc. but there are better juicers that will). Small chute (have to chop veggies and fruits smaller (e.g. larger apples and cucumbers, etc.) which adds to the time it takes to juice. Reverse function does not always reverse as it should, but adding another piece of whatever you’re juicing should help push the other piece through (this does not frequently happen). Definitely do your research to determine which juicer is best for you. Not only the brand but also if you prefer a masticating vs centrifugal juicer.

This juicer is so easy to use and clean. The Champion juicer I left with my ex was not easy to clean at all so I rarely used it. This one assembles and disassembles quickly, is not so heavy and bulky. The parts are smooth and clean up easily. I can use this daily. I would not do that with the champion. This processes juice a bit slower, but there is also less foam. I am happy to have made this investment.

Ninja NeverClog Juicer

Efficient to use and seems durable so far, pulp content can be increased or decreased, a bit noisy but nothing unbearable, easy to wash, good juice extraction, worth the price, not hard to set up

Great juicer. Got this and i like it because it is not a hassle to wash once youre done like other machines which is what gets me lazy to juice, also doesnt have a bunch of parts to wash. I love that it doesnt take up too much space , and its easy to use. Bought it over a year and still works great, I really enjoyed it. You do have to cut the vegetables in order for them to fit but other than that great. I recommend especially if you dont have too much space or want something simple!

This juicer was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. We used it for the first time and it was so easy to use and So easy to clean. It’s not loud and obnoxious. You have to cut the fruit in about 2 inch squares as the opening for the fruit is not incredibly big. But that’s not even slightly an issue. The de-pulper works great and the juice tastes like you are on an island receiving the freshest fruit of you life. This machine seems like great quality for the price. Hopefully it lasts but I see no issues at all with it. We are so happy with our new juicer!!!

This is a great juicer! I had the Breville juicer for a long time and hated using it because cleaning it is such a pain. Plus the Breville is SOOO LOUD! I was so impressed with how quiet the Ninja juicer was and how easy to assemble, use and even clean. There are three suggestions for Ninja for the next generation juicer. 1) Include a brush to clean the filter. Cleaning the filter took the longest and hard to get all of the pulp buildup out. I would be happy to pay a little more for it. 2) Make the Pulp Container a big bigger since for some reason the pulp didn't all go into the container. 3) Make the juice jug slightly bigger by making it taller and wider. I had some juice fall outside of the jug and tried moving it around to prevent it from missing the jug. Suggestions 2 & 3 are important for me because I juice tumeric which stains very easily. I still had to give it 5 stars because it was significantly better than my previous juicer and I'm so excited to continue to use it!
