The GBX45 doesn’t have an “auto shutoff” in the usual sense, like those gadgets that turn off completely after a while to save power. But it does have a 60-second timeout specifically for jump-starting, which is more of a safety feature than a power-saving one.
Here’s how it works: When the GBX45 detects a battery and enters Boost mode (white LED on), a 60-second countdown starts. If you don’t start the car within that time, the jump-start function automatically disables itself, the Boost LED turns off, and the unit goes back to just displaying its own battery level. To try again, you’ll need to turn it off and back on to reset it.
This feature isn’t on the GB40 (Boost Plus), so if you’re switching between models, it’s good to keep in mind. Just a little built-in safety net to make sure everything runs smoothly!

What a little handy thing. Small enough to slip into a bag or glove box, effortless enough to use when you really need it. Bought this for my 06 Dodge Grand Caravan and I’ve had to use it a few times over the winter now. Has yet to let me down. Uses USB C charging which is very convenient, and has enough charge to jump my van several times before needing to be charged. Battery lights are easy to read and bright. It also has accessory LED lights to see under the hood at night which is very helpful.
I would say this is a great value for the money, as it works without issue any time you use it. The battery is cased in hard plastic which seems durable enough, and the battery jump cables are sturdy with good quality hinges. I just wish the jump cables were slightly longer.
Packaging included the battery itself, the jumper cable connector, a USB C to C cable and a carrying sachet, and an instruction manual.

Many people probably buy a jump starter, toss it in their vehicle, and don't end up using it for quite some time. Perhaps by pure coincidence, I ended up running my battery down shortly after buying this NOCO and quickly got to test it out. Extensively.
It turns out my battery was the 7 year old OEM model and losing all charge killed it completely. So, for a week or so I was resurrecting it 2-3 times a day to get to and from work. I can confidently say that this NOCO unit works well and very quickly. I was able to get my car moving many times before needing to be recharged. I also had the opportunity to use it to resuscitate a "bricked" Nissan Leaf, which required using the scary manual override button to get it to detect properly. I still don't really understand that feature, but it seems to have worked.
My one complaint, after clamping onto the contacts so many times, is that the ridged plastic tips of the cable clamps chipped several times. I would suggest switching to a rubber-like material for the tips to avoid this from happening. Other than that, this is a great product.

What a great device! So easy to use. Just charge the battery about an hour, plug in the jumper cables to the battery, attach them to your battery and your up and running. If you only have one car this is great to have on hand. It's very compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space when storing. You can also use the battery to charge USB attached devices. For an automobile-dummy like me this was easy and worked.

When I first purchased this charger. I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating because I had not used it then. But now I can say this charger is very nice and it works great. I’ve used it twice on a 2.5 liter engine and once on a 3.5 liter engine with the batteries on all 3 vehicles being totally empty of any charge. I connected the NOCO, turned it on and hit the boot charge and all 3 cars started up and with no hesitation. I knew the NOCO still had much charging power left, but I just wanted to see how much power was drained from it. I connected the NOCO charger to my lap top and it was still full. I love this charger and with the NOCO carry case for it. It’s very convenient for storage and to carry around it I had to.
The charger is heavy and appears to be well built. This thing is out and I really like it. Thank you.

I have had 3 different makes of these jump packs and all have failed within 1 year . These noco are by far the best I've had so far no complaints hold charge well . Start dead trucks up right away . Been used on cars trucks and atvs , in both hot and extremely cold temperatures with no issues . Flashlight is very bright . Easy to use and read display . Multiple jumps on one charge. Easy the transport with the included bag . Clamps are very strong and sharp . Would highly recommend.

I purchased this think in 2023 and have put this thing to the test, right off the bat when I first bought it, I helped jump a diesel truck with zero, I bought this for the simple purpose of being able to start my bike on very cold days, which it did perfectly fine.
Now the real reason for this review was because I had a 2017 Cadillac XT5 that was completely dead and was able to jump it to start. The battery was completely dead and non-reliable, but this little thing was able to be the temporary battery to be able to load it up to a trailer as well as offloaded off the trailer. This thing was able to completely function the car with ease and was extremely impressive. It has been worth every dollar.

If I don't drive my F150 once a week the battery will discharge. This product jump starts perfectly. No long cables to carry around or standing in a parking lot trying to find someone to jump your car or truck. I have used this product four times without charging the charger. The charger charges from your computer or wall plug. I keep one in each of my vehicles just in case. Worth the money. You will need a jump someday and this eliminates you being stranded because your battery died. GREAT PRODUCT.
