Compare Xiaomi X20 & Xiaomi X10

Specs Comparison

Dust Cleaning

In this category, determining a winner is challenging. The X20 has superior suction power at 5,000 Pa, compared to the X10’s 4,000 Pa. This difference will be noticeable in real-world usage. However, the X20 has a significant drawback: it lacks a dust container on the dock. This means that the X20 will require regular cleaning, unlike the X10.

Despite the X20’s superior dust cleaning performance, I would give both vacuums the same score due to the X20’s lack of a dust container on its dock. The X10, on the other hand, is a more practical choice for homes with more carpets, pets, and children. While it doesn’t have as much suction power as the X20, it will perform nearly as well. Plus, its dust container doesn’t need to be emptied as frequently as its competitor’s.

Mopping Performance

This is another category that I find interesting when comparing the X20 and X10. This is mainly because it highlights the most significant difference between the two vacuums and explains why this difference exists. Without a doubt, the winner of this category is the Xiaomi X20. The reason for this is its 4 L fresh/dirty water tank and its special features related to mopping.

The X20 is equipped with dual-mop technology, and both of its pads rotate at high speed. In contrast, the X10 has a simple pad. In simpler terms, this means that the X20 won’t leave any streaks on your floors. It is also efficient at removing stubborn stains! Perhaps most importantly, the X20’s substantial 4 L fresh/dirty water tank in its dock means less maintenance! Whereas the X10 only has a modest 200 mL water tank in the robot vacuum itself.

In conclusion, if mopping is important to you and you have fewer carpets and more hard floors, the Xiaomi X20 would be the better option for you.”

🏆 Winner: Xiaomi X20

Battery Performance

Both robot vacuums have a 5,200 mAh battery. However, in our tests, we found that the Xiaomi X10 is outperforming the X20 regularly. This may be because we like to run the vacuums on max suction mode for a while, and the X20 has a more powerful suction motor.

Whatever the case may be, both score a high score in this category and are performing at the industry standard for battery life in robot vacuums. Of course though, the X10 is our winner in this category.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20

At $519, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 is competitively priced for what it offers. If you want automated dust collection, then go for the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+, which offers what the X20 has, as well as dust collection for S$629. It's a pretty good robot vacuum, and gets the job done easily and without fuss.
Either way, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 is still an impressive robot vacuum cleaner. However, I would be hesitant to call it a 4-in-1 robot vacuum cleaner for a number of different reasons.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10

Easy to install, quiet, does not shock, it vacuums perfectly and scrubbing well depending on the type of floor will be more or less effective and the cleaning will be more visible but it works wonders.

I love this robot, it's true that I've only tested it in vacuum mode, but it's great and the application is very good. It's fast, it has different vacuum modes, it empties itself, it doesn't take up much space, I have two dogs and my hair falls out a lot, so it's great. I have a Roomba that has been with us for more than 10 years, I was going to retire it, but I left it in the attic. When I try the mop mode, I'll update the comment. Oh, it's not loud.

It has 4 speeds, so far I have only used two, the silent one and the normal one. The difference between them is minimal, since you vacuum the same thing and the noise is practically the same. Quiet, it's not. It makes a lot of noise, especially when you empty the vacuum into the tank. It fulfills its main function and saves you a lot of work. The mop, which does not scrub, prevents dust from remaining on the floor and stays clean for many days. The only cons I can see is that the vacuum has arrived without the tool to clean the combs, which I imagine will be Amazon's fault because the box was too tightly sealed, as if they had opened it and closed it again. And on the other hand, there are no original spare parts on the Xiaomi market, everything I found are compatible.
