However, it doesn’t quite work out like that in reality. In fact, the standard S10 has a marginally longer battery life of 2 hours and 10 minutes! The S10+ on the other hand lasts about 2 hours. Both comparisons are being made on the Standard Mode, of course.
It seems that the larger battery capacity of the S10+ is primarily meant to help power up the fancier features of the S10+, such as 3D object detection. Ultimately, this just means that both models have similar battery life despite the battery capacity differences.
Sure, the battery life difference is quite marginal at worst. But that’s not the only difference! The larger capacity of the S10+’s battery also equals a longer charging time. A whole hour longer, in fact.
